We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days, we will advise you how long it will take to resolve the complaint, and we will keep you informed throughout the whole process. Generally, your complaint should take no longer than 14 days to resolve. Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our website, click on "Add to Cart" next to any items that you wish to buy. You are then given the choice to return to the website by pressing "Continue Shopping" or "Checkout now" to go to the payment section. After you have finished making your additional selections, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept all major credit/debit cards for payment (Mastercard, Visa, Delta, American Express, Solo, Switch). Shopping is now available not only just to the UK, but also to the majority of mainland European countries, the US, and Canada. If your country is not listed when you try to make a purchase, drop us a line, and we will do our best to set an account up for your country. Please be aware, that we do not accept Electron cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. Shipping And Handling Shipping and Delivery is carried out following our strict delivery policy. UK delivery costs between £2.99 and £4.99 depending on class of postage and size of parcel. Please note, we do not ship or invoice to PO Box addresses. If you are buying something as a present, why not save yourself the hassle and let us gift wrap it for you. We have two different colours of paper to choose from (silver and blue) and we can handwrite a message for you on a gift tag if desired. The gift wrapping service is from just £3.99 for most items (larger parcels may vary in price). Please note on the order form your wrapping requirements and we will contact you if further information is needed. Delivery Schedule If you place an order before 3:00pm, we will endeavour to have the goods dispatched on the same day. Delivery is usually by courier and must be signed for on receipt, for your protection and ours. Please allow up to 1-2 working days for delivery (although we will normally have it to you the next day) assuming the item is in stock. We will contact you immediately if the goods are out of stock and arrange for an alternative at your will, or keep you informed of delivery expectations. All goods are packaged discreetly, and if you have any special requirements please enter these on the order form (general information/special requirements, page 2 of ordering process) or ring our customer help line (0870 2404604). Phone lines are open from 9-5 Mon - Fri (except Christmas and Bank Holidays). Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed or called with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait, and we will of course keep you informed of the expected delivery time. Tax Charges All prices include VAT at 17.5% Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. In a nutshell, 128 bit encryption is the standard E-business protocol so have no fears! The credit card numbers are only decrypted after they reach our computer in Head Office. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. They are also used to store delivery addresses and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. The person responsible for privacy matters is the Managing Director - David Calloway. We do collect information about the consumer, but this is simply any information given at the time of ordering. The information is collected by The Ministry Of Gadgets only, and no third parties are involved. This information is collected through the ordering/registration process, or through e-mail enquiries, and is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information collected is as follows: Full name, full address, postcode, country, home phone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, payment method, credit card type, credit card number, credit card start date, credit card expiry date, and the 3 digit signature strip code. This information is simply used to process your orders. We may use this information from time to time to contact you in regards to promotional matters. However, you can opt out of being sent any marketing material. Returns Policy Once 'unwanted' goods are received, the consumer has a 7 working day cancellation period. The consumers right to reject starts from the day the contract is made, and ends on the expiry of 7 working days starting from the day after the goods have been received by the consumer. The right given to the consumer by the Distance Selling Regulation is a cancellation right i.e a right to cancel the contract. Whether the consumer has returned the goods or not, a refund of all monies will be made within 30 days of cancellation. Please note we do not refund the initial postage charge. We request that the goods are returned at consumer's cost, and if they are not returned, we will collect them and deduct the costs from the refund. The goods must be unused, boxed, in original condition and with your "Ministry Of Gadgets" receipt, and must be received back within 14 days from the date of invoice. If the goods are not in a re-sellable condition, we will send them back to you at your expense. For your protection, please obtain a receipt and proof of posting from your Post Office. Damaged goods: Provided we are informed within 7 working days of receipt, goods damaged in transit will be replaced at no extra charge. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. You can return any product to us within a year for an exchange, only if it fails to operate through defects in manufacture or materials. If the goods are no longer made then we will replace it with goods of equal value after consultation. Occasionally, the product you receive will be slightly different to that pictured. We reserve the right to change products slightly from those pictured. These terms do no affect your statutory rights. |
